Experience and Skills:
Applicants should possess strong writing skills and be organized, detail-oriented, able to work independently in an office environment, and curious about the world of textbook publishing. Prior experience in publishing is not required, but familiarity with Excel and a comfort with Internet research are preferred.
Specific work hours are flexible, but interns usually work three or four days per week for a total of 20 hours over a three-month period. The start date is also flexible, but applicants should be available around mid-January.
To apply, please submit your résumé and cover letter as email attachments to Alexandra Gakos (firstname.lastname@example.org). In your cover letter, please list up to three internships at Norton that you are interested in pursuing. To be considered for an internship, you must follow these directions and apply directly to the hiring manager.
