Job Description:

National Book Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative. The person in this role will work in the customer service department to help support our customers’ needs. This position reports directly to Anna Davitt.

Essential Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Answer telephone calls and provide helpful support to our customers.
  • Complete follow-up items that pertain to customer support, such as, order tracking, damaged book replacements, etc.
  • Participate in discussions regarding improving National Book’s operating procedures.
  • Other tasks as directed by Anna.

Experience and Skills:

  • Able to convey professionalism and courteousness at all times, especially during stressful encounters.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good PC skills, including experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Good problem solver.
  • Knowledge of Logistics PRO, AS/400, navigating websites, and using e-mail.
